This one meant a lot to us. We had the opportunity to help out a local veteran whose home needed some attention - siding covered in green algae buildup, a front porch floor darkened with grime and dirt, and a tall two-story exterior that had seen years of organic growth work its way into every lap of siding. Life gets busy, and home maintenance is one of those things that can quietly fall behind. That's exactly where we come in.

The front of the house had a heavy green algae line running along the lower siding courses right below the windows. That stuff doesn't just look bad - it holds moisture against the siding and can cause long-term surface damage if it's left to sit. We treat it with a soft wash approach, which means we're applying a cleaning solution that actually kills the algae at the root rather than just blasting the surface with high pressure.

The porch concrete was another story. Years of dirt, organic staining, and general foot traffic had left it looking rough. That kind of buildup is stubborn - a garden hose isn't going to touch it. We cleaned the full porch floor from wall to railing, and the difference in the concrete's color and texture speaks for itself once everything is rinsed clean.

The back and side of the house showed the same algae streaking running from the roofline down the two-story siding and chimney chase. Getting those upper sections right takes the right equipment and technique. Rushing that part of a house wash is how you end up with missed spots and streaking. We take the time to make sure the whole exterior gets treated evenly.

Jobs like this are a reminder of why we do what we do. A clean home isn't just about looks - it protects the siding, the concrete, and the overall condition of the property. We're proud to do good work, and we're even prouder when we get to do it for someone who deserves it.
